2026 Portadown Summer Camp

Let Get Going Get Rowing show you how to row on the water this summer! Our Portadown camps will be held at Portadown Boat Club. Rowers must be aged 13-17.

Rowing is a fantastic sport for so many reasons: It takes a totally different skill set than land-based sports, there’s a different team dynamic, you’re out in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings, and you can’t even learn it until you’re in your early teens. So you’ll be on the water with other total beginners, just like you!

These on-the-water rowing camps are designed to introduce young people to all aspects of the sport, both on the water and off.  Our camp incorporates the innovative Olympic Values Education course developed by World Rowing and Youth Sports Trust International. And they’re tons of fun.

The camps will run Monday – Friday, 3rd – 7th August – 10am – 2pm
Location: Portadown Boat Club
, Craigavon. BT62 3TN.

You can register here, and if you have any questions, email Caroline at caroline@rowingireland.ie. Once registered, you should receive a confirmation email (check your junk mail folder!) and then you’ll hear from us again the week before camp with details about what to bring.

Camp 1- Mon 3rd August – Fri 7th Aug, 10am-2pm (9 places remaining)

Disclaimer: By signing up for the summer camps you are agreeing to become a free recreational member of the Get Going Get Rowing club. This is required for participation.
