Cork Summer Rowing Camps
If learning to row is on your summer bucket list, let Get Going Get Rowing show you how! We will be running rowing camps this summer at Cork Boat Club, Lee Rowing Club, and Shandon Boat Club in Cork City this summer. Participants must be aged 12-16 and the cost is €100 per participant.
Rowing is a fantastic sport for so many reasons: It takes a unique skill set compared to other sports, there’s a different team dynamic, you’re out in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings, and you can’t even learn it until you’re in your early teens. So you’ll be on the water with other total beginners, just like you!
These on-the-water rowing camps are designed to introduce young people to all aspects of the sport, both on the water and off. Our camp incorporates the innovative Olympic Values Education course developed by World Rowing and Youth Sports Trust International.
These camps add to the very successful ones that we run in Dublin and Limerick. Keep an eye on our social media pages for updates as we may add more weeks in the very near future! As of now, all spaces for our camps are sold out. To be placed on the waiting list, please email Amy at CorkCoordinator@RowingIreland.ie.
