Let Get Going Get Rowing show you how to row on the water this summer! Our Galway camps will be held at Galway Rowing Club. Rowers must be aged 12-15 and the cost is €100 per participant.

Rowing is a fantastic sport for so many reasons: It takes a totally different skill set than land-based sports, there’s a different team dynamic, you’re out in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings, and you can’t even learn it until you’re in your early teens. So you’ll be on the water with other total beginners, just like you!

These on-the-water rowing camps are designed to introduce young people to all aspects of the sport, both on the water and off.  Our camp incorporates the innovative Olympic Values Education course developed by World Rowing and Youth Sports Trust International. And they’re tons of fun.

Morning camps will run 10am-1pm and afternoon camps will run 3p-6p. Camps are either Tuesday through Friday or Monday through Thursday, please check the dates carefully on the drop-down menu below.

You can register here, and if you have any questions, email Amy at LimerickCoordinator@RowingIreland.ie. Once registered, you’ll see a confirmation page and ought to receive a confirmation email (check your junk mail folder!), and then you’ll hear from us again the week before camp with details about what to bring.

UPDATE: Our 24 June and 1 July camps are sold out. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list, please email Amy at LimerickCoordinator@RowingIreland.ie with your name, the child’s name, and the city and week of the camp.
