The Grand Finale of the 2024-25 ROWfit #BlitzIt Series is here!

The Liffey blitz will take place on Thursday 8th May at Neptune RC in Islandbridge. Crews will race over a 300m course down the Liffey and show off their recently learned rowing skills. The overall best school on the day will be crowned Legends of the Liffey and will be presented with a trophy.

The categories are Junior (6th class and 1st-3rd Year) and Senior (TY-6th Year), with boys, girls, and mixed competition in each. If we have a large entry in the Junior category, we will split it into JuniorA (6th class and 1st year) and JuniorB (2nd and 3rd Year). Each team must have four members, none of whom can be an active or recently active member of a rowing club. All participants must complete a practice water session prior to taking part in the event.

Each event may have quarter and semi-finals depending on numbers entered. We may run two brackets in each category if needed. The points allocation for this event for the ROWfit League Standings will be announced after the close of entries.

Entry fee is €20 per team. If this is a barrier to your team taking part, please contact us as we have some funding available to help support where needed.
